Hi Leonardo,
The tour was great. Max (the tour guide from Switzerland) is a good guy.
We had a lot of fun. My only complaint was the organization of the
transportation to and from the amazons. The wait for the first tour to
begin in the amazons when we arrived was too long and the wait for the
driver when we wanted to leave was too long.

Hi!
We had a great time. The guide had lot of knowledge and we had a fun fishing
Piranhas and catching alligators. The jungle walk and sleeping in the jungel was an
interesting experience and we had great company from nick the monkey. The loge was
fine but I can recommend bringing an mosquitonet for beds there.
Food was ok but was the same every day.
Transport back worked out as planned and we had a relaxed time on the boat.
Also the hostel iin manaus is very confortable and affordable.
All together we had a really nice adventure.

just came back from a meeting, thanks for your email. We had a great time in the jungle, it was really superb and I learnt a lot from the guide who took us and the hospitality and the food was very good.
The heat was bothering me a bit, my feet were swelling up like elephant trunks and they are still not quite right, but that is possibly due to not being used to the equatorial climate, but it did not deter me doing all the things we could do. So I was in a way glad that we did not stay any longer in the jungle and I had seen what I wanted to see.
So thank you very much for your help and support, we really
appreciated it and I will certainly recommend you and also come back to you should I come back one day, you'll never know.

How are you?? Sorry it took me so long to answer i ve been
very busy the tour was great we realy had a great time . Joshua is a great tour guide but how is He ? When we left he had to go to the hospital.The only down side is that on your web site it seems that swiming with the daulphins is included and when we got to the Lodge we were asked 100R$ per person for 5h go and back to feed then for 15min. Other than that i would sugest This tour to my friends.

we were happy to see the meeting of the rivers.
The jungle hostel was finally the Green Lodge, instead of the Pousada Jacare
from your Website.
At the Green Lodge they didnt know about us and had problems with free
space.
The guide Joshua was great, his English was very good and he showed us many
things.
But his helping hands were more or less making good things worse.
So we didnt see wild animals.
but still was a good trip.

Hello,
The trip was great. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner - we've
been traveling a whole bunch without internet.
My one suggestion is that you make it clear to travelers that they
have to find their own back after the trip. It was a bit of a shock
that we got off the boat and no one was there. Also, we were undere
the impression that you would be taking our passports and valuables to
out in a safe, which we learned was not the case. It would have been
nice if you had picked us up becau there were some questions that were
not cleared up. Your secretary called our room at midnight the night
we were leaving and we were sleeping because we were being picked up
at 3 in the morning. It would have been nicer if she called earlier in
the evening.
Other thane that my friend and I had a fabulous time.

De Manaus peguei barco pra Belém e só entrei na internet agora.
O passeio foi legal. Vou ser bem honesta.
Eu curti muito a noite dentro no mato. Acho que cada visitor deveria fazer isso pq é
uma experiência única.
A respeito à canoagem, achei meio sacanagem pq a gente nem foi de canoa mesmo - foi
só aquele barco grandão de motor e os guias ficaram remando o que foi meio
complicado por causa do tamanho do barco. seria legal se os hóspedes eles mesmos
poderiam remar numa canoa mais simples, menor..
Ah e outra coisa> as pessoar reclamaram por causa dos guias que não falaram ingles.
Eu acabei traduzindo por que os outros não entendiam nada.
Mas em geral eu gostei da atmosfera, o pessoal lá na lodge é bacana.
Valeu, experiência legal, vou recomendar!

Gostei muito do tour e do pessoal da chácara. Foi muito interessante aprender tanta
coisa dos animais e da natureza.
Se você quiser minha opinião do hostel, eu não recomendaria. Mas isso e
provavelmente um pergunta das minhas exigências pessoais. O atendimento foi bom, mas
os quartos nao recomendaria.
A viagem de volta foi super bem organizado. Por favor manda um grande abraço para o
nosso guia Fabio. Ele e um grande cientista e um cara muito legal.

Just connected to the internet in rio.
Yes, driver took us to the airport. Shame it was not a bigger car though.
Overall the tour was grate and at the end we did everything that was planned + indian village.
The local guides were AMAZING. Fabio such a nice person, we all loved him! :)
Also we had nice time with Capitano and cacasa in the jungles.
But there are things that we felt annoyed about. Like Tarif leaving on a 2nd day, only 1 room for 3 of us. Other things as well but managed to overcome them.
I don't know what I can suggest to you but having your own lodge and guides as you permanent staff us an idea. Because all this free lance guides don't seem to work. I know that lodge don't even have an electricity, but having a sync booking system also sounds good. We were ok 3 in a room, but the girl Sarah did not. Well the as I said before, we experienced all that was promises but with some hussles.

Jungle tour was fantastic! We enjoyed the travel to the interior, the jungle walk, spotting Caymans and staying in those jungle cabins!
We were warned sufficiently about the mosquitos so that too was planned for.
Towards the end we had the fortune to experience Amazon rains - that in itself was worth seeing and living through.
Last few days we have been in Rio De jenerro and today on our way to Iguassu Falls.
I am sure to tell my friends in Boston about our expereince and may be some of them will venture towards Manaus for similar experience.

The staff were very helpful and excellent. Illeana could afford to smile a bit more, though. Roni was an excellent and hard-working guide. Lilliani was a very intellgent young girl with a lot of charm and enthusiasm. The meals prepared by her mother were good. The grilled fish prepared by Roni in the jungle was excellent. Saw some wildlife (macacas do cheiro, the big one (maybe a spider monkey), and a porco do espinha (as well as a Vagalumi and a few birds). The sounds of the jungle were amazing.
The water pump is way too noisy, by the way.

Teve bastante emoção e foi bem interessante. Eu dormi na selva no primeiro dia com direito a caminhada noturna, no segundo que foi a noite do temporal visitamos os índios, focamos o jacaré e fiquei no acampamento com bastante medo inclusive e no ultimo após o café da manhã fui embora já que o motor do barco não queria pegar e nao deu tempo de fazer nada. O hotel tem uma localização boa e havia um grupo legal lá.

Amazing tours does justice to its name. We had an amazing time fishing for piranhas, walking in the jungle, swimming in the Rio Negro. I would have to say that by far my favorite experience was going into the jungle to learn about eatable and medicinal plants. As one of our tour guides said during the walk "this is a crash course on jungle survival," and sure it was. We got to try a lot of tasty treats and at the end of the day we built our camping ground (I just watched). We ate like kings/queens, the food we had was super good and all natural. The fish was cooked the same day of the catch including the piranhas. We made good friends along the way because we had plenty of time to relax and have fun. The amazon has a little bit for everyone, go explore it.

Jungles trip
Overall very enjoyable experience of amazon basin, nature and people, while no special training or abilities are needed. Thus suitable for almost every one. The tour operator takes care from the Manaus airport until the end of the trip. In addition, gap/waiting time in Manaus could be organized as well (accommodations, where to go...).
Four days trip was done in mid September '10, in a group of 6. One permanent (very well) English speaking guide normally getting help from one or two local people. Basic but testy food & fresh water were never missing.
In summary, really enjoyable experience and good value per money service. Would recommend this for people seeking nature adventures at reasonable budget.

Hi Leo,
Just got back to NL after a really nice holiday in Brasil.
Concerning the trip, I personally, enjoyed it a lot. This was mainly thanks to Elmo, our guide who took us to various interesting places, and organized great activities.
I was however expecting that someone would be there at the docks to pick us up and drop at our hostels, but this didnt happen?!?
Some of the other guests who werent with us, had quite a few issues and did not seem to enjoy the same experience as us however.
Thanks once again, for all the organization. It was fun.

Procurava uma viagem dentro de meu orçamento e sempre tive loucura para conhecer a Amazonia. Entrei na internet e encontrei AMAZING TOURS. Enviei um e-mail para o Leonardo Mendes, que para minha surpresa, me respondeu quase que imediatamente. Eu expliquei que queria conhecer a Amazônia sem frescuras, conhecendo os hábitos locais. Ele montou uma programação ótima para mim, foi super atencioso. Tinha um motorista, Aldiney me esperando no aeroporto, super educado que me levou ao hotel e disse que espraria 10 minutos par ater certeza que eu estava bem acomodada. Nunca ninguém fez isso por mim! Logo cedo já estava à minha espera o guia Daniel, pessoa educadíssima e muito interessante que me mostrou todos os locais de Manaus. No dia seguinte o próprio Leonardo Mendes me buscou no Hotel e me levou ao Porto aonde o barco estava à minha espera para um passeo lindo ao encontro das águas e para o alojamento na selva. 6a feira passeamos em Manaus. Foi bom e vimos os edificios mais famosos.
Sabado e domingo foram na selva. Foi bem gostoso.
Na 2a tivemos pouco tempo em Manaus.
No geral, tivemos uma estadia agradavel.
O albergue que nao era bom, fora a confusao tambem da reserva da internet nao batendo com os dados deles la. Mas no final tudo deu certo.
Gostamos muito de nossos dias na selva. Foram simples, mas o pessoal foi bem atencioso e é bem gostoso por la.
Só que precisam de alguem que fale ingles. Ha um rapaz, mas os gringos tem dificuldades.

My friend and I had a wonderful 2 day tour. From the time we left our hotel until we dropped off at the hotel, everyone showed great concern for our care. As you’d expect, our accommodations were not the 5 star, but they were clean, the food was good, and exactly as promised. We had an excellent guide on our tour; he was both knowledgeable and professional. They delivered on the their promise and their name; it was an amazing tour.

A bit late, but here you have my comment ;-)
I booked a 3-day tour so i could do most of the activities in a short time. Overall, i realy enjoyed the tour. I`ve been travelling in Brasil for 2,5 months and your jungle tour is one of the best experience i had in Brasil. The best things of the tour were :
Sleeping in the jungle for one night (although it wasn`t part of the 3-day program, i had the chance to choose what i wanted to do the most, so thanx for your flexibility), The Piranha fishing and searching for crocodiles (just a pitty we find a small one).
Also the trip to the lodge i realy enjoyed it, because we stopped at a house near the river where they had a crocodile, snake, etc. We were able to taking pictures and that was one of the things i wanted to have.
The lodge was good, very nice cold beer ;-) but the best meal i had was at the night we slept in the jungle. It was nice to see how he was preparing the chicken above the fire and making plates from leaves, etc. He was very nice and friendly.
The only thing i expected, was that only 1 person (american guy) could speak English. For tourists from other country it`s difficult to understand what they can expect or what we are going to do, especially when you have to wait for the next activity.
So overall, a great experience, nice staff (except communication is something to work on, like more of your staff can speak English, it`s important) and i can recommend it to everybody.

The tour was good, however, I was expecting more older jungle. The jungle we visited was rather young. I also was a disappointed that the dolphins were not part of the tour. The dolphins were an additional 50 Real and if I went to see the dolphins then I would not get to go on the jungle trek. When we got to the lodge we could have had lunch and gone fishing and on a jungle trek, right after lunch instead of sitting around for an hour just waiting. I would still recommend people to see the jungle but I think it could be better organized and people need to know what they are getting. I was also surprised by the fact that I had to sleep in a hammock.

I´m sorry, but I must have caught some stomack flue in the djungle so I was sick for the last 2 days and couldn´t reply earlier!
the jungle tour was great, very hot and sweaty, but I especially enjoyed being in the nature, the night in the jungle was my favorite!
Unfortunately the first night was not so good, because you hadn´t told me that I had to bring a moskito net and they didn´t have a spare one for me. So it was pretty hot in long cloths and the sleeping bag, cause I was too affraid of mosquitos, since I didn´t take any malaria prevention.
And another tip for you: when we arrived at the lodge most of the others where very suprised that there were so many other people. It was quite messy and hectic and it took a couple of hours until we had finally figured out what would be going on with us for the next days. So it would be a lot better if there had been some kind of induction for the newly arrived people instead of having to wait for so long and in the end run after some information.
But for the rest it was a great trip (the indian village was a bit too touristy though). Nice people, great food, amazing pictures!

Tudo bem?
Nossa... o passeio foi incrivel, bem rústico, talvez um pouco mais do que eu imaginasse, mas as meninas gostaram bastante e foi uma experiencia bem diferente para as duas. EU ja tinha um pouco mais desta vivência, mas o mais incrivel era que eramos as unicas brasileiras no acampamento!
Na primeira noite a minha pequena ficou com um pouco de medo e na segunda quem não conseguiu dormir foi a maior,porém conseguimos controlar a situação sem maiores problemas....o guia Fabio foi muito cauteloso e dedicado e nos explicou muuuuitas coisas sobre a mata. Só não tivemos a sorte de vermos um bicho preguiça, mas na proxima tenho certeza!
Quando alguém for para esta região lhe indico! Vou pedir a minha filha que coloque um relato lá no site dos mochileiros,
sem mais!

Thank you for organising our Amazon experience. We really appreciated you getting Al to pick us up, and show us things and talk to us on our way to the accommodation. It was also nice to have you greet us at the accommodatiion, and show us to the port the following day, helping us by booking our accommodation, change money and organising our luggage to be stored. The Green Lodge was a wonderful experience, and Fabio is an excellent host. Maybe we spent a little too long on the alligaator hunting, otherwise the food, the room and everything was great. Thankyou for helping us enjoy our brief visit to the Amazon. I wish now we had longer to visit a village, or family.
It might help others if you explain how other people end up at the green lodge, that you are an agent, and that other agents send people there also..

Tour de 3 dias e 2 noites no jungle, Amazing Camping.
I stayed in Manaus for 4 days. 3 Days I spent in the jungle, Green Lodge, about 1 hour away from Manaus at the Rio Negro. I spent the 1st night with 2 others at the Amazing Lodge, we had fun with the piranha fishing, but it’s so difficult to catch one. Just our tour guide caught one. The piranhas are really cool with their little teeth, but really dangerous as well. Afterwords we had dinner and we went to alligator spotting by night. It is so amazing, how many different noises you hear at night. But it is a bit scary at the small boat in the total darkness!!! It’s helpful to take a light with you! As well at the Lodge, because there is no light neither!
After we had found 2 small alligators we went back to the lodge and tried to configure our hammocks. Not so easy in the darkness….and the 1st time.
The next day, we got up at 4 a.m. to see the sunset and the dolphins. We spent quase the whole day outside on the Rio Negro. We had breakfast on the water and than we went to see the pink river dolphins. If you want you can swim with them for 50 Reais, but I spent the time with watching them and talking to the people living there on the water! Very nice and friendly people!
After we got back to the Lodge we packed our stuff to spend one night with our hammocks in the jungle. We went 10 min into the forest and fastened our hammocks at the next trees. Afterwards we prepared a campfire to have diner. We had a delicious frango on the fire with rice! Really good.
Than we spend the night there. Just a little bit scary with all the noise. But we didn’t see dangerous animals like spiders or anacondas, just millions of ants!
In the morning we woke up with the sunset and we started after a breakfast with our jungle discovery tour for about 2 hours. We discovered many interesting trees and their use! But no animals, just some birds and monkeys. But nothing really spectacular. After the tour we went to an indio village and wanted to have a ceremony with them, but we should pay another 50 Reais for that. So we decided to go to an native village and have some conversations and beers with them. Very funny and lovely people. I danced with some nice guys before we had to go back to the Lodge for lunch.
After a small canoeing trip we went back to Manaus.
In total a really nice trip! But I missed more jungle adventure. It seems to be for people from big cities. I come from a small town in the middle of Germany with a lot of forest. The trip reminded me sometimes of this forest I now.
But really interesting. I liked the sleeping in the Hammocks and the grilled frango and the endless tours on the Rio Negro! And of course I liked the natives. They were really friendly. And if you speak a little bit portugues and drink a beer with them you will have a lot of fun!!!

O tour de 2 dias 1 noite foi bom. Notou-se alguma falta de coordenação e de comunicação na organização mas as actividades desenvolvidas compensaram esse facto. Verificamos a necessidade de organizar a segurança do local, por se localizar numa área isolada e aconselhamos não levar objectos de valor pessoal e dinheiro. As actividades corresponderam ao que tinha sido anunciado, com a vantagem de haver alguma flexibilidade na programação (foi-nos possível alterar o local da dormida do acampamento flutuante para casa nativa). Houve um percalço que atrasou o regresso a Manaus mas o passeio extra de canoa foi uma boa compensação! Aconselho vivamente a chegada das andorinhas ao pôr-do-sol e o nosso guia, o Zé, que nos proporcionou a visão de preguiças e macacos, para além de uma óptima companhia.

Desculpa não ter te respondido na segunda, mas a vida está muito corrida por aqui, depois do retorno.
Os passeios foram maravilhosos, nosso guia era muito bom!! O Josué foi quem nos acompanhou nos passeis, foi muito atencioso e prestativo! Sempre disposto para realizar os passeios da forma mais agradável possível!!
O Josué não nos acompanhou tanto, tivemos mais contato no acampamento, e nos momentos de interação foi muito simpático! O pessoal lá do Jungle é 10!
Encontramos alguns problemas na chegada, pois não havia ficado tão claro para o Josué que iriamos fazer passeios diferentes dos demais turistas. Mas, posteriormente aos esclarecimentos, foi tudo ótimo!
Creio que as expectativas geradas na divulgação do Jungle Hostel não fecham 100% com o que encontramos no local, no que diz respeito à infra-estrutura. A comida é muito saborosa, bem feita (qualidade boa), mas a diversidade deixa a desejar. Esperava encontrar frutas típicas nas refeições, opções para quem não come peixe... Comi laranja e mamão, o que sempre como todo dia... Só comi cupuaçu pq na caminhada na floresta o Josué achou um e nos deu para dividir com o grupo! Sugiro que tenham essas frutas locais disponíveis no hostel, pois quando se viaja em um país tropical se espera comer muita fruta! A bebida disponíver era só água... Achei que haveria suco. E havia bebida para vender, mas não me avisaram, estava sem dinheiro... Todos esses detalhes devem ser comunicados antes de irmos para lá... Poderia ter uma lista de itens indispensáveis que não estão incluídos no pacote, assim já iriamos munidos na saída de Manaus...
O legal é que o Josué foi mto parceiro e me disse pra enxaguar no rio, ficou ali pertinho, pq eu tava morrendo de medo...
São coisinhas que acontecem, eu levo na esportiva, tento ver o lado bom...Quando falo com meus amigos sobre a viagem, recomendo, mas já aviso que não estão indo para se hospedar e sim para viver uma aventura. A hospedagem é de subsistência, apenas um espaço para recarregar as energias, com o básico. Falo que devem ir para o Jungle Hostel não pelo "Hostel", mas pelo "Jungle", pois os passeios são fera! Os guias são 10! E se conhece muita gente diferente, de vários locais do mundo!
Ah, só mais um detalhe, falta vocês que vendem o pacote especificarem melhor quais os passeios que iremos fazer. Por isso te solicitei aquele email, com as informações... Até hj não recebi... Por exemplo, o passeio até o boto com certeza vale MUITO! Muito mais do que pescar piranha... Só conseguimos fazê-lo porque negociamos com o peruano, cujo nome me falha agora... Esse é um passeio longo, mas maravilhoso, o contato com a natureza é muito intenso e divertido!! Tens que montar o roteiro, especificando tudo e divulgá-lo para nós...
Sinceramente, eu amei! É um local maravilhoso, de aventura...
Vocês tem tudo para fazer aquele local um sucesso! Até acho que se vocês especificarem o que vai estar disponível, com a alimentação, os passeios, podem oferecer melhores condições de alimentação com um preço um pouco mais elevado. Quem quer fazer um passeio desses paga R$ 30,00 a mais por dia para ter mais diversidade na alimentação...

אנחנו בדיוק חזרנו מסיור של 3 ימים בג´ונגל באמזונס עם חברת הטיולים של ליאונרדו מנדז. הוא היה מקסים! הוא אסף אותנו משדה"ת, ארגן לנו הוסטל ללילה במנאוס, ואפילו שמר לנו על הדרכונים והכסף אצלו בכספת בזמן שהיינו בג´ונגל. הוא פשוט דאג להכל. מומלץ מאד! הוא דובר אנגלית ועושה מחיר טוב יותר לישראלים.

I’ve had a really amazing tour with „Amazing Tours“ at the Rio Negro. The service was excellent. Leonardo picked me up at the airport and helped me with my luggage. At the day when the tour started he picked me up again from my hostel and drove me to the boot where I met a lot of other young people who went together with me to the lodge. The lodge itself is a bit basic but nice located and it supports all what you need in the jungle. The following days I’ve done daytrips with six other people and a very good native guide who knows almost everything in the jungle. He explained us a lot about fruits, medical plants and animals that live inside the rainforest. Besides a jungle walk we’ve also done fishing, aligator spotting, swimming with dolphins and we even slept one night in the jungle. One night we spent also with local people who live in the jungle. It was quite interesting to see their way of living but unfortunately they didn’t explain us anything about their
live. All in all I’ve had a great time and I would highly recommend „Amazing Tours“ with Leonardo Mendes.

Olá caros amigos, aí vaia a dica pra quem quiser ficar em um hotel de selva com preços bem razoaveis, Contate Leonardo Mendes da Amazing Tour, o lugar é um hotel flutuante bem distante da cidade, pra chegar lá só de barco, lá mé possível ficar bem em contato com a natureza, existem passeios que podem ser feitos, pra pescar, pra andar na mata e observar alguns animais selvagens, além de contar com um bom atendimento e uma comidinha caseira muito boa, se quiserem mais informações entrem em contato pelo meu e-mail, thebestlobao@ig.com.br, e então assim que possível poderei passar mais dicas, estou indo agora pra Presidente Figueiredo e depois mando mais dicas...

Eu estive em Manaus com uma amiga no feriado da páscoa e contactamos o Leonardo da amazing tour pela net. Ele foi atencioso tanto por mail, quanto na chegada. Oi, meu nome é Maurício, eu fiz agora um tour de 5 días na selva, pra as pessoas que estão procurando inforamacão certa e de passeios proffisionáis e bacanos aí deixo uma dica.
Quando chegué a Manaus eu procuré várias agencias para fazer tour na selva, com a ilusão de conhecer a selva em forma verdadeira. Procurando eu chegué até Amazing Tours, uma agencia que está na rúa Leando Cavalcante, pertinho da sorvetería glacial. Eles mostraron algumas fotos e explicarom para agente tudo sobre os passeios. Eu decidí ir com eles e fiqué 5 días e 4 noites na selva num campamento a 70km de manaus no río negro!
A verdade a experiéncia foi maravilhosa, um lugar mágico e com a oportunidade de ver animáis e plantas q não tinha visto nunca. Fiz pesca de piranhas, avistamento de jacarés, dormir na selva, canooing, caminhadas na selva, visita a comunidades da zona, etc, a verdade que fiqué muito contente e feliz de ter experimentado estar desligado de tudo na selva amazónica.
Se quiser fazer um passeio legal, pode contatar a esta agencia, gostei muito do jeito de trabalho e os guias falan varias linguas, acho que vale a pena fazer.
Eu sou fotografo e para mim a experiência foi incrível!!!

Hello Amazing Tours,
I first want to say Bravo!! My family and I had a wonderful time on the Eco-Tour you had put together for us. The wild life was simply amazing and the knowledge of the guide to take his time and explain what we were seeing was very helpful with our limited language of the Brazilian Portuguese. I spent many nights after work reviewing different Eco-Tour agencies and after many phone calls and reviews yours was the one, we as a family picked and our expectations were surpassed by everyone that was involved. The best part is when we found out that a portion of what we paid for the Tour went to a mission group, who purpose is clean drinking water for kids and families. To support local farms, to help feed those in need. This is truly special ! So special that we went to www.ccm-world.org site and donated again when we got home.. this will be a lasting memory for everyone in my family! thank you so much and God Bless.

We liked you so much we recommend you to all of our friend and our best friends just got back last week . they told us it was one of their best times they ever had ! this was a true gift to hear, your operation is truly commendable.

The two days trip with Amazing Tours?
I can just recommend!!
First day trip to place, where are connecting Amazonia and Monte Negro rivers, than lunch at camp, evening fishing of piranha with participation of dolphins and beautiful sunset. At night trip to meet and catch some alligators.
Next day really early wake up to see a beautiful sunrise. After breakfast trip to the river and rain forests with lecture about fauna and flora, how to climb on trees, how to make a rubber, which kind of flowers are dangerous, which are healthy, etc...
All time a lot of fun and meeting of new interesting peoples. Unbelievable peaceful and calm atmosphere...
If I can recommend, take more than just two days trip. You will have more fun and adventures.
Enjoy it and have a nice time there. I really had ;o)))

Hi Leonardo,
We made it out of manaus in one piece - we managed to find a taxi for the 5 of us to the airport for 40 Real.
The jungle tour was really good, we all enjoyed ourselves. the guides were really helpful, especially mike, but we didn´t realise we wouldn´t have a room and would have to sleep in hammocks for all 3 nights...!
Thanks for all your help organizing everything, we´re recovering on the beach in Bahia now!

Fui para Manaus neste último feriado de 12 de outubro. Fiz uma viagem incrível! Recomendo a Amazônia para todos os brasileiros.
Como eu nao tinha muito tempo, contratei um tour de 3 dias pela selva. Fui com a Amazing Tours.
Tudo deu muito certo! E ainda no último dia, nosso guia nos levou para uma praia linda linda no Rio Negro, que nao estava previsto no roteiro.
Sem dúvidas, conhecer a floresta amazônica foi a coisa mais legal que eu fiz no Brasil.

A VIAGEM FOI MUITO BOA MESMO!!
Segui o roteiro que me propus e divulguei acima (mas só retornei na sexta de madrugada).
Dou meu aval pra todo o relato do Glauber! Assim, só vou postar aquilo que acho que acrescentaria algo pra futuros viajantes.
Antecipamente, só reservei a primeira noite de hotel em Manaus, um pacote Selva com saída na manhã seguinte e a noite com o tal Pajé Raimundo.
Pacote Selva: 2 dias e 1 noite, ao preço de R$240,00 por pessoa (preço para brasileiro), incluso o traslado do aeroporto ao hotel, transporte hotel-selva-hotel, todas as refeições na selva e 1 noite em cama. Achei um preço justo os R$240,00. Fiz com o Leonardo Mendes (fechei com ele devido a 1 ou 2 relatos que li sobre ele aqui.Antecipadamente depositei 1/3 do valor na conta dele. Ele cumpriu tudo o que prometeu. Pareceu-me bem confiável. Recomendo-o aos Mochileiros.
Eu tentei fechar com ele um dia/noite adicional no Pajé Raimundo, mas ele disse que não conseguiria isso, mas me liberou para negociar por minha conta com o Pajé e que ele poderia nos deixar lá no final do passeio da Amazing, sendo que eu que teria que dar um jeito do transporte Pajé Raimundo-Manaus. Assim que fiz. Deu tudo certo!!!

DICA em Manaus: combine o preço do táxi antes. É negociável e normalmente negociar é melhor que o valor do taxímetro. Por exemplo: centro à rodoviária. R$20,00 a 30,00. Retorno: R$30,00 a 40,00. Centro ao aeroporto: R$ 40,00 a 50,00.
Alguns minutos antes da partida para iniciar o pacote, o Leonardo nos ofereceu a tal noite adicional na selva (acampamento e tal), que não aceitamos por achar indiada em demasia! Eheh E por ser meio perigoso (achamos).
Também nos ofereceu um passeio para nadar com botos no segundo dia (ao invés de fazer a caminhada na selva, já incluída no pacote). Como minha parceira não iria ter tempo de conhecer Novo Airão, achamos que valeria a pena. Embora tenhamos achado muuuito caro o valor (R$140,00 para cada um de nós). Mas o passeio valeu muito a pena, sorte o temos fechado!!

it was a good trip, nevertheless the lake organisation.
unfortunately the guide don't speak spanish
we couldn't make the jungle trek beause we doesn't know that we need shoes ( the guy who bring us from the hotel to the boat said us that havainas was sufficiante...)
a very good trip indeed.

The tour was great. It was a little different than we expected. I thought we were staying on a river boat, not at the lodge, but it didn't matter at all. The guides were great and we all had a good time.

Hi,
The tour was good. I enjoyed it very much. There was a small problem with the boat so we got to lunch very late. This limited the time we had for swimming and fishing. I would certainly recommend the tour to other people.

We were delighted to experience the majesty and the quiet of Amazonas, in the floating lodge on the Rio Negros. Leonardo, Joshua (our guide) and everyone else was attentive, from our arrival to our departure. And it was a big plus that we could make all of our arrangements on line.

Bom dia. Realmente o passeio foi muito bom, a paisagem, os animais e tudo foi muito legal mesmo. Só achei um pouco corrido, mesmo porque a falta de horário foi minha....não podia perder o vôo de jeito nenhum. Se tivesse ido no barco grande com a turma toda não teria chegado a tempo. Vou ficar com os contatos de vocês, pois um dia destes vou retornar apenas para conhecer mais locais, não a trabalho. Gostaria muito de ir nos locais onde podemos nadar com os botos, os que vi eram cinza e não chegavam muito perto do barco.

I have had a wonderful full up day at the river, in Amazónia. The day began with a tour of the meeting waters between the river Negro and river Solimões. It is really fantastic the straight line formed between the black (Negro) part of the water and the brown one, from Solimões river. After that we went to see the Victoria Regia plant, that green, circular and lovely plant that grows in Amazonia rivers. Fantastic. And at last but not the least we went to a float restaurant, just in the middle of the river next to the jungle where we had a wonderful lunch. The fishing of the “piranha” fish, after lunch, was very quit and peaceful just in a canoe in the middle of the river. And the best was when that guy next to me fished a very big “piranha”. It was really a fantastic day. All the guides were on time, and the guide of the piranha fishing was incredible.
